Privacy Policy

 

This is the privacy Policy for the app: jobNow (referred to as “JN” in this document). This privacy policy is updated as of June 8, 2016

Personal Information Collected:
JN, through in-app forms, collects your First and Last Name, your account email address, your password, your contact email address (if different from account email address), your phone number(optional), a profile picture of yourself (optional), the date and time you created your JN account, the date and time you updated your JN account, the location where you made a JN user post, and any data or content you submit to our servers, database, app, or any information center owned and/or operated and/or maintained by JN. Your email and password for JN are stored in your phone's internal core data when you log in to facilitate automatic log in when you reststart the JN app on your phone.

Third Party Information Exchange Policy:
JN does not share any of your personal information collected on our servers, database, or app with any third party(with the exception of Law Enforcement or another party designated by the governing local, state, provincial or federal government for legal reasons, at the discretion of JN). There are 3 forms of personal information that JN, through multiple methods, may exchange your personal information. Your contact email (and thus your account email, if you choose not to update your contact email), your phone number, and the location you were in when you created a JN user post may be provided to other JN users seeking to contact you in reference to a post you made on the JN app. You can choose (at the time you are creating the post) which forms of contact information (i.e.: email or phone number) you want to be attached to your post on JN so that interested JN users may contact you; you also have the option to forgo attaching any contact information to your post and instead request that interested users submit a contact request to you instead. Furthermore, in a non-specific, non-personal way, JN may use the date and time that your JN account was created as well as the dates and times your JN posts were created and the locations they were created at in order to contribute in forming JN user statistics data that is non-personalized and does not have any user-specific personal information attributed to it. This non-personalized, general JN user statistic data may be shared, exchanged, publicized, and/or displayed internally within JN, to parties directly associated with JN or to third parties at the discretion of JN.

How JN Users Can Review And Request Changes To Their Personal Account Information:
JN, for security reasons, does not fulfill out of app personal information requests, with the exception of Law Enforcement/governing body requests at the discretion of JN. If you forgot your JN account Password you can request to reset your password in the JN app and the reset process will take place on www.parse.com). JN users can view their personal account information by logging into the JN app and tapping the “More” tab. There, users will find his/her first name, contact email, phone number, and profile picture. Users can change their personal account information by logging on to the JN app and going to the “More” screen. There they can change their contact email, phone number, profile picture, and password. Users can not change the information attached to their previous JN user posts, however they can delete them if they so choose to by going to their post under the “My Posts” tab and tapping the trash can icon on the upper right corner of the screen. Users can delete all of their personal account information stored on JN by tapping the delete button at the bottom of the “More” screen and following the on-screen directions thereafter. Users are responsible for deleting all of their posts on JN before deleting their JN account, otherwise the posts will remain on JN even after the account is deleted and their will be no way to delete them thereafter.

Notification To Users Of Changes In JN’s Privacy Policy:
Users can be notified via two ways of Privacy Policy changes:
-By reading the “What’s New:” section when they go to the App Store to update the JN app.

LAW ENFORCEMENT PLEASE READ BELOW:
JN does, under certain circumstances, provide necessary data to official government law enforcement personnel. Do you need information from us? If so this is how you retrieve it:

-If it is **NOT** an emergency, please email non_emergency_jobNow@gmail.com the following information:
        -Your First and Last Name
        -Your badge ID number
        -Your Phone Number
        -Your preferred Email Address.
        -Your supervisor’s First and Last Name
        -Your supervisor’s Phone Number
        -Your supervisor’s Email Address
        -Your Jurisdiction Location
        -A good quality, scanned copy of any related warrant or subpoena (if there is none, be aware we are not required to, and possibly may not, fulfil your request.)
